5 things you may have missed this week at BHSP

Here are 5 things you may have missed this week at High Street.

1 - Miss Austwick welcomed everyone back to school on Tuesday with a sensational assembly.

In her message home she talked about how the emphasis this year will be on reading, how parents and carers can be involved in school and all the new Senior Leadership Team we have in school.

2- We handed out our Extended School Clubs.

With an after-school club every night we are very proud to offer such a wide variety of sporting and non-sporting clubs. Including; Key Stage 2 Christmas Production, Creative Dance, Drama, Handball and Gymnastics!

3 - We released our Autumn Dates for the Diary.

We have been super organised and have organised everything from the Harvest Festivals to the Christmas Jumper Day and everything in between. Please be aware that the Harvest Festival is now on the 17th October 2018. These have all been added to our online calendars which can be found here

4 - We released of Class Assembly dates

We would love to see you at your child's assembly. These assemblies will show off what your child or children have been learning throughout their topic. Each assembly will start at 10.10am and will last around 20 minutes.

5 - Our New Foundation Opened

After living across the road for the last year, our Foundation Stage 1 children started in the very new build. It has been a successful start to the transition and we are looking forward to seeing some of our new starters in the coming weeks. We will be opening the doors properly on the Early Years Foundation Stage Open Day on Friday 21st September (more details to follow).
