This book is amazing and one you should try and get a hold of to read! Here is the first chapter for you to read through and there are some sheets for you to work through afterwards! Enjoy.

This week, we are looking at the beginning extract from Wolf Brother when it is really tense! Read it carefully and make notes about the text.
Look at the words in context activity carefully because some of the words may be quite confusing at first.
Week Commencing 4th May
This week you have a chapter from Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. Read the extract carefully then see if you can answer the quick retrieval questions. Afterwards there are some questions to compare characters.
Week Commencing 27th April
This week, you have an interesting Viking information text to read. This may also come in handy when you are looking at researching all about the Vikings for your topic lessons and for any inspiration for your writing!
Reading Comprehension week commencing 20th April
Below is a brilliant Viking myth to start off our Viking topic. It's called 'A Fearsome Bride'. You may be familiar with some of the characters already - like Thor, Odin and Loki.
Activities below include some vocabulary work, impressions of characters and comparing characters. You may want to do one a day or all at once if you get hooked on the story!
If you love the story as much as we do, you may want to prepare a performance read using your best intonation and expression for your parents or even your dog.
