Our topic this term is …
During the first term, we will be learning about Christopher Columbus and the impact he had on the Native American people. We will find out who Christopher Columbus was and who the Taino Tribe were; a group of Native Americans. We will also consider the significance of his discovery and what that meant for the people at that time.
Our class novels this half term: Meerkat Mail and Wolves. Both by Emily Gravett
Our behaviour focus: Terrific transitions around the classroom and school.
Maths Focus: Place Value and Additional & Subtraction
English Focus: Forming a sentence correctly, using capital letters, full stops and finger spaces. Using conjunctions to join ideas together.
PE day: Monday
