Events in School (19th February 2018)
Who is ready for another half term? This half term is only a short half term (5 weeks) up until Easter with school closing on the 23rd March. We have already lots of things booked in including; Book Fair, Science Week, World Book Day, World Maths Day, Class Assemblies and finally Sport Relief.
To start us off though, we have a training day.
Monday 19th - School closed to children.
Tuesday 20th - School Reopens to children
Able Maths Day (Year 3 and 4) - A couple of children from Year 3 and 4 have been selected to attend an Able Maths Day at Castle Hills. Letters have already been given out for this. Have an excellent day.
Year 4 Wider Opportunities - Children in 4D will continue to learn the ukulele. Could you please make sure that they bring their instrument in. Children in 4K will continue to learn the Samba.
Wednesday 21st -
Super Learning Day! - Across school we will be looking at what makes a good learner, looking at depth at each of our learning monsters and how famous people they had to overcome barriers to be successful.
Key Steps Foundation Stage Gymnastics - A select group of children have been selected to participate in the Doncaster Finals.Good luck to all those taking part.
Thursday 22nd -
Year 3/4 and 5/6 Advanced Gymnastics Finals - The advanced group will participate in the Doncaster Finals.
Year 3 Tag Rugby -We have the Castleford Tigers Tag Rugby coach coming in to see our Year 3's and teach them a bit of Tag Rugby.
