Events in School (29th January 2018)
The events keep coming this week. We have lots of events going on in school including a trip, a dance competition and a visitor from church. This week our Learning Monster focus is Listening Larry, Empathetic Ethel and Exploring Erin.
Monday 29th - Could Foundation 1 children please bring their wellies and a dry set of clothes. They are going hunting for muddy puddles across the week.
Tuesday 30th - Miss Pearce and Mrs Gilbert will be leading assembly on how they have been Fix it Fred/Fiona's.
Chatter Books Stay and Play - The F1 staff are inviting parents to stay and play with their child from 9am (Morning session) and 12.30pm (afternoon session).
4D Trip to the National Coal Mining Museum - Children in 4D will be visiting the National Coal Mining Museum. To make the experience even more exciting, they can dress up as if it is their first day down the pit. Children should be in school for 7.45am and are due back for the end of the school day.
3F Class Assembly - Children in 3F will be performing their class assembly all about the Ancient Greeks. This will happen in the main hall at 10.15am.
Vicar visit to Y1 - Year 1 will have the opportunity to interview the Vicar about what it means to belong to a religion.
Cheerleading Competition - Key Stage 2 will be competing against other schools in the local area for a chance to appear at the County Finals in March. The top 2 schools will go onto to represent Doncaster at the English Institute of Sport in March. Good luck to all of those involved.
